Since our establishment,
gardening materials and pet food articles have been central to the business of our company. Our management philosophy is "go steady, go all out and go forward," and it is wish this policy that we have grown to be one of the top five of these business sectors. We believe our policy, giving top priority to the voice of our clientele, has proved right. We also lay emphasis on "how we produce, what we face and what we produce." 1961: Oshima Shoten,predecessor of our company, was inaugurated and started the production and sale of fertilizers. 1963: The sale of dog foods started 1965: The institutional name was changed to Tochigi Pet Food. 1969: The production and sale of assorted feed for pet birds started. 1973: Tochigi Pet Food Co.,Ltd. was established and moved to the present location. 1980: A distribution center was completed. 1982: An automatic fertilizer scale was installed. 1983: Another distribution center was built. 1983: A computer system was introduced. 1985: The capital was raised to \ 10 million. 1988: A computer-controlled picking system was introduced. 1989: Fertilizer and feed packaging was automated. 1991: The company name was changed to Oshima Co., Ltd. 1993: The Packaging of various gardening soil was automated. 1995: A new office and distribution center were completed. |
